My recommendation, watch the movie and then read the book. I have only read 2 chapters and loving it so far.  Slowly getting my hands on the rest of her movies so I can complete the book. Written by Amir Muhammad one of my Love of Bloggers.

Lately.....(better sooner than later though i wish i had discovered his blog sooner) I've been reading Amir Muhammads blog. He's a writer, film maker and publisher. I love reading his blogs...his writings are witty and very entertaining without trying to be entertaining. Here's an entry which I loved cause it made me laugh, a book about Sharifah Aini.
